We’ve all made decisions we regret. Some of us carry the weight of past mistakes like they’re part of our identity—shadows that follow us into every new opportunity, relationship, or assignment. But today, I want to remind you of something powerful: you are not your past. You are God’s masterpiece in progress.
On a recent episode of The Noble Show, I sat down with a preacher who had once been deep in addiction. His life was a portrait of brokenness—but then came Jesus. What struck me most wasn’t just his transformation, but his confidence in Christ. He didn’t speak like someone ashamed. He spoke like someone redeemed.
And that’s the beauty of grace: it rewrites your story.Where the enemy says “failure,” God says “forgiven.”Where your past screams “unworthy,” God whispers “chosen.”
Let’s Be Real
Maybe you haven’t been in addiction, but you’ve battled something: fear, doubt, insecurity, bad decisions, broken relationships. The enemy would love for you to stay there, stuck in the pain of your past. But here’s the truth—you were never meant to stay in Egypt. You were made to walk through the Red Sea and into purpose.
How Do You Move Forward?
Receive Grace, Don’t Earn It.God’s grace isn’t a reward for being good. It’s a gift for those who trust Him. Stop trying to earn what’s already yours.
Rewrite the Narrative.Start speaking what God says about you. “I am redeemed. I am loved. I am chosen.” Your words shape your world.
Walk in Purpose, Not Perfection.God uses imperfect people to fulfill a perfect plan. Don’t wait until you “have it all together” to step into what God’s called you to do.
You Were Made for More
The Noble life isn’t about pretending to be perfect. It’s about living with purpose. It's about choosing faith over fear, progress over perfection, and identity in Christ over labels from the past.
Let this be the season where you stop apologizing for your story and start owning it—for God’s glory.
📖 Reflect:What’s one lie from your past you’ve believed? Now replace it with a promise from God’s Word. Write it down. Pray over it. Declare it.
